Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in helping us serve and support Sun Valley residents.
*Time Commitment
We find that volunteer work has been most rewarding for volunteers and program participants when volunteers make a longer-term commitment. Weekly or bi-weekly opportunities are available in the following areas, with a minimum 3-month commitment.
- Volunteers to mentor our young men of color through the Youth Professional Development program
- Assist with our No Cost Grocery Program on Wednesday afternoons
- Assist with our youth cooking classes on Saturday afternoons
- Assist with meal prep for the Sun Valley Youth Center on weekday afternoons
